Summary
The client provides QR generation, dynamic links, analytics and related services for users connecting physical materials with digital destinations.
The solution became a QR code platform for branded creation, editable redirects, bulk mappings, scan tracking and code validation.
The platform is made to reduce manual work in QR code creation, management and tracking.
Client story
The client is a marketing software company from Spain. It provides QR generation, dynamic links, analytics and related services for users connecting physical materials with digital destinations.
Its users create codes for campaigns, products and brochures. They also use them for menus, landing pages and controlled-access workflows.
The request was simple: provide downloads in common formats, track interactions, generate uniquely mapped codes in bulk and connect QR workflows with external services.
The solution was shaped as connected modules for creation, dynamic link management, analytics, bulk generation and validation. The design also left room for payment, ticket, survey and bio-link workflows.
The client asked for
- Export PNG, SVG, PDF, ZIP, JSON, CSV or Excel files
- Track scans, clicks, submissions and payment status
- Generate bulk codes mapped to labels, batches or destinations
- Connect payments, analytics, maps, forms, SMS, storage or printers
Why ready-made software did not fit
Ready-made QR and link management platforms cover pieces such as branded codes, dynamic links and scan tracking. The requested workflows also included asset mapping, bulk generation, validation and payment workflows, so the client's combination required a custom platform.
Project overview
The solution was designed around the client's QR generation, dynamic-link and tracking services. The creation screen accepts URLs, text and contact details, then shows a live preview.
To handle branded output, controls were provided for colors and logos. Shape and eye-style settings were also included. toqr (a small JavaScript and TypeScript QR encoder) generates the code, while standard exports return PNG, SVG and PDF files.
Dynamic destinations were kept separate from the printed code. The platform stores QR code IDs with destination URLs, labels and batches, so redirects can be updated without replacing printed materials.
Bulk generation was shaped around CSV labels and destination patterns. Each generated code receives a unique mapping, with JSON results, ZIP downloads and PNG or SVG images for operational use.
Special attention was paid to tracking and validation. Scan activity is shown through counts, dates and locations.
Validation returns statuses such as valid, used, invalid or expired.
