Client story
LV Systems is a Latvian distributor specializing in structured cabling and fiber optic products. For years, their website served as an outdated product catalog that required constant manual updates. The team was overwhelmed with Excel files and struggled to present their catalog online in an organized, multilingual format.
They needed a reliable partner to help streamline their workflows and modernize their online presence. That’s where 2410 stepped in.
Project overview
2410 developed a customized multilingual eCommerce website for LV Systems SIA using WordPress and WooCommerce. The website supports Latvian, Russian, and English, making it accessible to a broad regional audience. A custom-built plugin was implemented to automate product import directly from structured Excel files, with smart category mapping and language-specific processing.
The solution included full content migration from the old site, leveraging a prebuilt WooCommerce theme for a modern layout. All key pages were rebuilt and localized, including company info, supplier listings, and policy documents. For seamless user experience, the checkout process was simplified to email notifications, aligning with the client’s sales flow.
SEO-oriented link redirection preserved legacy URLs and rankings. Special attention was given to category hierarchy for better navigation and product discoverability. The backend interface was enhanced with easy content management tools and PDF embed features.
After testing on a temporary subdomain, the site was deployed to the client's server with an onboarding session. 2410 ensured the client was fully trained on product uploads, content editing, and system configuration, empowering them for independent management.

Thinking about building a similar system?
Below are some of the common questions we get from companies planning to launch a multilingual product catalog or eCommerce platform, especially those who work with Excel files, multi-language support, or complex category structures. If you’re considering a similar project - this will help clarify what to expect.
Yes. In fact, we build a custom plugin specifically for this. You’ll be able to upload and update product data directly from structured Excel files. The system can handle multilingual inputs, automatically map categories, and even skip rows if certain languages or links aren’t detected. It's made to fit your real workflow, not the other way around.
Absolutely. We implement full multilingual support from the start using industry-standard plugins like WPML. Your content can be managed separately per language, or we can use machine translations as a fallback. Language switchers, translated menus, and SEO tags are all integrated into the design.
That’s no problem. The system allows for dynamic category management - whether you’re uploading via Excel or adjusting manually. Categories can be added, renamed, or reordered, and they automatically reflect on the frontend navigation and filters.
No. We’ll provide you with a short training session and easy-to-follow instructions on how to update products, edit pages, and manage your content. The admin interface is based on WordPress, so if you’ve ever used a CMS before, you’ll be comfortable here too.
Yes, you can embed PDFs or link files directly on each product or category page. It’s useful for datasheets, certifications, or product manuals. We include this functionality by default as part of the setup.
We handle that with smart SEO-friendly 301 redirects. This ensures all traffic and backlinks from your previous site are preserved, which is crucial for maintaining search engine rankings. The redirects are managed in an intuitive plugin interface, so you can add or edit them later too.
Definitely. We use a staging environment where you can preview the full site, test product uploads, explore translations, and confirm structure before anything goes live. It’s part of our workflow to keep you in control throughout the process.
